Week 2

yes, it's already week 2. only 15 more weeks left in LA :(
haha anyway. today i went for my interview!

It was with Fox Features casting department, as in 20th century fox, the major studio that produces all kinds of awesome movies like The devil wears prada, Titanic, Xmen and Fantastic Four. So that was pretty cool, and kinda nerve-wrecking. but the interview turned out to be really informal. the casting director's assistant just asked me a bunch of questions about myself, then showed me around the office, and i got to see the casting room where they audition actors. also got to walk around the fox studio lot, which was huge and on high-security. craziness! and so basically interns do lots of office stuff, filing, logging, researching, running errands on the studio lot, and hopefully sitting in on castings and seeing how the process goes. sounds alright. i wouldn't mind doing that for the next 3 months. besides, it's FOX! who wouldn't wanna work for them?? probably shouldn't talk too much about it 'cause they have this thing about privacy and confidentiality.
anyway, even though it's an hour away by bus, i think i can do it. just have to wake up earlier and sleep earlier too. heh.

So.. i'll know if i get it by friday. fingers and toes crossed.

Ok have to go write my script now. sigh. i think i have a story... about an imaginative, quirky, lonely little boy who finds a watch that gives him the power to go back and forth through time. it's all about staying true to who you are and not conforming to society's expectations.
i don't know how good it's gonna be... and out of 52 scripts turned in by us students, they're only gonna choose 5 to be produced and made into films for our class. so... here's hoping it's good enough!
