so this weekend is over! so fast! sigh. i need more sleep. my eyes kept closing today. heh.
so anyway friday was dinner at the Daudts'..and sorta planning for the international orientation in the fall! so superly excited for that!!! more little international freshies! yay! maybe more cute guys too. since we're severely lacking in guys. haha. psyched to help out for worship! and maybe be a small group leader! aaahhh! :)
told them my plans for the summer..working for my parents at their pizza place and matchmaking company. for some reason everyone thought me working at a matchmaking company was hilarious..and they wanted me to matchmake pple when i come back. haha. watched 3 movies this weekend..tristan and isolde, cars, and the prince and me 2. all pretty sucky movies. haha.
got huge boxes at walmart..packed some stuff..all ready to go home!! think i have too much stuff though. gave away a huge load of clothes..gonna give away some more..and books too. dun wanna let them go to waste. hope i can stuff everything into my suitcase to bring home!!
today was a longgg day. not really. but it felt long. maybe cuz i woke up at 8. way earlier than usual. went to a wesleyan church for the first time. got kinda confused. the pastor was talking about how we can achieve sanctification, which the wesleyan people define as a state of total righteousness where one is completely sinless. and i don't think that's possible..right? since the bible says we're all sinners and we need God's grace.. i don't know. he confused me. so..don't think i'm going back there.heh.
went for taylor's very own gospel choir!!! i used to be in it. but i quit. no time!! heh. it was fun though..to see all my frens having the time of their life on stage praising the Lord..dancing and clapping and all. this is how it should be! i love gospel. we should do more of that in fcbc!! haha. it was awesome. they got the audience to worship with them too.
then went for Gerig bonfire at the Habecker's (our sch president) backyard. had a great time watching people eat s'mores and wishing i could eat one but i'm having a sore throat :( must be those cookies we baked on fri. anw..been hanging out more with gerig people nowadays..getting to know them better..made me wish i'm not leaving!! aarrgghh. i mean, i wanna branch out and meet more people in olson and all..but i've grown to love gerig people! and they're so not weird! stupid stereotypes. i'll miss hanging out with them..maybe i'll come back every so often to see them again :)
