well that was a pretty good 3 days of break :) partied like a rock star on thurs night, cuz everyone else was gone n only of us were left on the wing. haha.
left on fri for Indianapolis!! got up pretty early for breakfast..my 2nd time at the DC for breakfast this sem! went to the children's museum in Indy..it was pretty fascinating n fun. but some pple rushed us out of there. seriously, so hard to please everyone. esp this international group. oh well..i had fun taking pics n stuff :) then dubem lost our van keys, so we had to call the police n it became this big deal..but they found it afterwards. got lost driving around..ended up at some random burger king for lunch. it rained, so we couldn't go on the boat ride..went shopping instead!!! which was totally fine with me. haha. the mall we went to was HUUUGGGEE! it was like paradise for the girls, and utter misery for the guys. haha. bought lots of stuff. rushed around like a total auntie though. haha. went to the hotel after that. the rooms were really nice. compared to last year. everyone was pretty much wiped out by then. stayed in and ordered pizza for dinner. watched tv. i miss tv. went swimming. chilled.
sat woke up nice and late. went shopping first thing in the afternoon! haha. poor guys. they should really learn to appreciate the joys of shopping. seriously. it's so therapeutic and lovely. food for the soul :) i got so much summer stuff..not really any winter stuff. heh. had chi food for lunch. was kinda salty n gross. went to watch ~rendition~ at the theatres..it wasn't bad. just kinda depressing! all that torture n stuff. then went to play laser tag!!!! was suuuper fun. running around with laser guns, screaming whenever i saw the enemy..and my group kicked the other groups' butts! yay! went to an ethiopian restaurant for dinner. total satisfaction for my stomach :) headed to dr. abebe's huge house for the night. led worship..watched another movie..~pride~. was pretty good. inspirational.
back at taylor today. hardly got any sleep over the weekend :( oh well. it was fun. and good to get away for a while. stopped by walmart on the way back. got tons of stuff!!!! new boots, new shoes, 2 coats! i'm totally set for winter this year. no more shopping for me. at least for a while :) right now the weather's surprisingly warm still. last yr this time it was FREEZING already. really thankful for the sun :) so...gotta study for an exam tomorrow. didn't do any work over the weekend. ugh.
