back from CHICAGO!!! was there for fall break. was so awesome!! finally got OUT of the taylor bubble. ate sooo much good food. REAL chinese food in chinatown! bubble tea! indian food! the best pizza place in chicago! and most of all... went SHOPPING! best road trip EVER. gd bonding time with the rest of the international students too..love chicago! cuz it's a city! and has no cornfields around! shopping was kinda expensive though. only bought like food. haha. went to navy pier, this sorta theme park. so fun!! loved the weather there..wasn't that cold. perfect! stayed the night in this hostel place. everyone was warning us it'll be really gross but it was really ok. cuz i got the best room with 2 other girls. haha. with our own bathroom n everything. only thing was that above my bed someone wrote 'i've pissed in ur bed before'. um...ew.
then went to dr. abebe's house, which was lovely! he's the one in charge of all the international students. had devotion time..watched 'madea's family reunion'. like most of the international students are blacks so they insisted we watch it..and it was really funny. african american shows are hilarious! haha. his house was HUGE. there was a pool table n all. :) fun times!!
but back at taylor now..super tired. didn't get much sleep. plus got hw to do!! tmr's mon. ugh.
