today was a pretty stressful day. rushing here and there to get all sorts of homework n assignments done plus laundry to get ready to jamaica. but..finally finished everything! even my huge inductive bible study assignment on 1cor 12 about the one body, many parts. i am now officially an expert on that. haha. but..dinner was surprisingly really gd!!! hung out with pple for the last time before everyone leaves for spring break..they opened a smoothie bar in the DC! coolness. then de-stressed by shopping. got 2 cute summer shoes! i am oh-so-ready for summer!
anw yup! i'm goin to jamaica tomorrow!!! well actually not tmr. but we're leaving for chicago tmr!! then jamaica early sat morn!
super duper excited :) all the sights we're gonna see..all the pple we're gonna meet..all the food we're gonna eat..all the culture we're gonna absorb..but...determined not to be a christian tourist! must remember i'm there to serve the Lord. not on vacation!
but still can have fun :) my fren said it all..feels like i'm in a performance group going on tour. haha. cuz we're doing drama n worship n all..anw..keep me in prayers! for safety, for open hearts, for wisdom from the Lord, sensitivity to the needs of the Jamaican pple, that we'll not offend them unknowingly, team unity, and journey mercy! yup. be back to update on the trip on april 9! lovessssss. :)
