my new fav song! sweetly broken! such an awesome song :) one of the songs we're playing for TCA later! going to this church for their youth group to do worship..pretty excited. we finally have a drummer. and it sounds gd! at least as gd as it can get seeing as how we only practised twice. heh. and we're playing hillsongs!~ happiness. but ystdy spent like the whole afternoon practising until my fingers hurt really bad. at least we got our act together :)
so this weekend was full of awful movies. well not that awful but pretty bad. watched the motorcycle diaries on fri. kinda fell asleep somewhere in the movie. then at the end i realized it was a true story about che guevera..some revolutionary guy. which i thought was cool, but by then the movie was over. haha.
then ystdy watched 300 at the theatre. such a waste of money can! it was a total horrid pervertic gross show. don't know why i went. well i guess cuz i had no idea what it was about until it started! heh. but yeah. it was bad. and it was rated R here..which is 17 and above..so not appropriate! think the R21 rating in s'pore is more appropriate. can't imagine 17 year olds being allowed to see movies like this. no wonder america's deteriorating.
so i was reading 1 and 2 samuel for biblical literature. SO interesting! i know this sounds horrible, but i never knew the old testament could be so fascinating. all that stuff that happened..from eli to samuel to saul to david etc..wow. i got so caught up in it i read the whole 1samuel in one night. was pretty cool.
also..whoever's reading this..pray for my mummy! she's sick. got some kinda inflammation of the stomach lining. cant eat anything since last week. so she's pretty weak. pls pray that the Lord's healing hands will be upon her and take away her pain and discomfort. and that He will be her source of strength and heal her of her sickness. Amen!
