yay!

today was a YAY day! haha.
anw. fri we went bowling..at this smoky, awful place that made my eyes water. don't know why. but it was fun. the theme was eurotrash..so we kinda dressed up. haha. and we were wondering what the heck is eurotrash, and someone said..dress like benita! not sure if that was a compliment or an insult. heh.

ystdy was a gd day spent on hw. finally i have some time to relax and do hw! got lotsa stuff done. less stressed now. went shopping in the afternoon..new summer clothes for jamaica. yayyy :) we're gonna go climb a waterfall..go on a boatride/dinner (hope i dun get seasick cuz i tend to)..sounds more like a fun vacation than a mission trip. heh.

today we rehearsed for our programs for the schools and churches in jamaica..i'm doing guit for worship in churches..and part of the mime for the schools. heh. i'm the ROCKER! everyone unanimously agreed i fit the part. yay! haha. it's a drama about how all these pple on the wrong side of the road..druggies..rich girls..rockers..drunks..all come to find Jesus. pretty interesting. but not sure if they'll be offended or anything cuz it is kinda saying that these pple have messed up lives and need Jesus. then went over to Jess' house and set up the sound equipment. we're gonna bring these huge bags full of sound stuff to jamaica with us! so heavy. i'm less technologically ignorant now. proud of myself! haha.

today's weather was AWESOME! sun, sun, sun!
went to an old folks' home for TCA..wasn't really lookin forward to it..playing for the elderly..not sure if they'd even appreciate it. heh. but..it went pretty well..we got to talk to them after performing..and i talked to this one old lady..she was really interesting. haha. i told her to try eating frog legs. haha. so..i learnt not to discriminate against old pple. they have like, a lifetime of wisdom and life experience, and they totally deserve to hear the gospel too. :)

OH and i'm leaving next fri night..on the 30th march. driving to chicago (3hrs of driving!) airport in the evening..staying the night at a hotel..our flight's on the 31st at 7am!! sooo early. transit at memphis. reach jamaica sometime in the afternoon.
then coming back on 9th april..reach chicago at night..by the time we drive all the way back here, it'll be at least midnight. sighs. and the next day is class! no rest. but nvm. my strength and refuge will be in the Lord. or i'll just skip class. haha.
